Downs Family History - William Downs, b. Kentucky abt. 1820
I'm looking for any information about my Great-Great Grandfather, William Downs. He was born in Kentucky around 1820. He married Elizabeth Loyd from Jefferson, Indiana and they eventually sttled in Rushville, Illinois. If you know of William's parents or can supply any links to the european origins of my family (I believe it is Irish) I would greatly appreciate it.
