Laura-One side of ourfamily has tried to connect with the Sarah-That wed her cousin William -This would make sense but we have no proof -Our Sarah shows up in Morgan Co. abt. 1806 with her father william and he died there ( Morgan Co)in 1824 -Sarah is mentioned in his will)wed again to William McCullough and had several more children by him ( that means that her husband must have died by the time she wed William Mccullough! Do you have some way of showing me when sarahs Husband died ,and possibly where?( I have heard that he was the William Downs that expored the tennessee River-Great bend )I would love to solve this ---I have another possibility that Sarah is the daughter of William Downes of halifax. co ( He died in 1789-will 1793) all the names seem to fit.--L.D.Rinald
