      <description>June 17, 2006&lt;br&gt;KEESEVILLE — Mark T. Dragoon went missing on June 5, 2006, the day before his 29th birthday, due to a white water rafting accident. He was recovered from the Ausable River on June 15, 2006, by a band of devoted volunteers.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born in Sanford, Maine, on June 6, 1977, the son of Thomas and Marie (Donnell) Dragoon.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mark was a member of St. John's Church. He graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1995 and attended Clarkson and Potsdam State Universities. He was a member of Beta Ti Fraternity at Clarkson. Mark was employed by Bombardier, Mold-Rite, Friendly's Restaurant and most recently at Perkins Restaurant. His proudest accomplishment was being a magician and entertaining the many people who enjoyed his performances. He was an avid hiker, fisherman and snowboarder and his passion was the outdoors.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Survivors include his parents, Thomas and Sonia Dragoon of Napierville, Quebec, and Marie and Joseph Miller of Plattsburgh; two sisters, Kristi and Kimberly Brodeur, both of Plattsburgh; four stepbrothers, Patrick Lemelin of Naperville, Quebec, Joseph Miller Jr. of Plattsburgh, Brad Miller of West Chazy and Justin Miller of Plattsburgh; two stepsisters, Kelly Miller of Plattsburgh and Chrissy Miller of West Chazy; his grandparents, Edward and Lucille Dragoon of West Chazy and William and Barbara Donnell of Plattsburgh; his companion, Christina Benoit of Keeseville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.W.       <description>SCIOTA — Russell L. Dragoon Sr., 77, of Sciota passed away at CVPH Medical Center.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born in Sciota on July 31, 1924, the son of Richard and Mettie (Guyette) Dragoon.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Russell was employed by the Town of Chazy Highway Department, retiring after 38 years of service. He was a Republican representative for the Town of Chazy for as many years.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Survivors include five sons and four daughters-in-law, Deborah and Russell Dragoon Jr. of Altona, Gary and Betty Dragoon of Altona, Larry and Donna Dragoon of West Chazy, Mark Dragoon of Altona, Kelly and Kelly Jean Dragoon of Altona; a daughter and son-in-law, Dennis and Bonnie Wright of Schuyler Falls; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Garrand of Mooers, Ruby Matott of Plattsburgh and Lillian Alger of Morrisonville; two brothers, Millard Dragoon of Albany and Hillard Dragoon of West Chazy.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was predeceased by his wife, Rita (Mesec) Dragoon; two infant daughters, Melody and Barbara; and one brother, Elrick Dragoon.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain.       <description>Mooers — Marion E. Dragoon, 88, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001, at her residence.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was born in Mooers on Aug. 14, 1913, the daughter of Henderson H. and Mabel (LaVarnway) Wray.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was a member of the District I Republican Committee, the Home Bureau, the Mooers Senior Citizens and was a charter member of the Mooers Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was a member of the Mooers United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Women.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John "Jack" and Margaret Dragoon of Mooers; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Alan Campbell of Wildwood, N.J.; a brother-in-law, Robert Danford of New York; four grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Her husband, Floyd E. Dragoon, died on Jan. 26, 1991; two sisters, Doris Danford and Evelyn Wray also died earlier.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers. Members of the Mooers Fire Department, Auxiliary and C.M.S. are asked to meet at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Calling hours will also be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Mooers United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday from the Mooers United Methodist Church, with Rev. Arthur Northrop officiating.       <description>INGRAHAM — James R. Dragoon, 44, of Lakeshore Road, died early Thursday morning, Dec. 27, 2001, at his home surrounded by his family.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born in Plattsburgh on Sept. 28, 1957, the son of Edward and Lucille (Budlong) Dragoon.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Dragoon was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Chazy.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was a 1975 graduate of Chazy Central Rural School and for the past four years has worked as a machine operator at Bombardier Corporation in Plattsburgh.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was an avid motorsports enthusiast with a love of motorcycles, snowmobiles and watercraft.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Dragoon is survived by his parents; two daughters, Angel and Devonne Dragoon both of Ingraham; one brother, Thomas Dragoon and his wife, Sonia of Napierville; three sisters, Jan Haughey and her husband, Michael of Canton, Mass., Jo Morse and her husband, Richard of Ingraham and Helen Dragoon of Watertown, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Calling hours will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.
