I'm familiar with this family because John and Sarah had a son, John, born in 1865 in Cushendun, Co. Antrim, and I thought him a very good candidate for being "my" ancestor John. Unfortunately (for me), I found both father and son -- his father widowed and the son unmarried -- in Ballyteerim in the 1901 census records.
