www.lowcountryafricana.net. She has extensive records of Draytons in the Lowcountry - including descendants of those who worked on the Drayton plantations. I have records of 54 African American Draytons who served in the United States Colored Troops in the Civil War. Angela Walton-Raji is based in Washington DC and being an experienced genealogist, she has access to records at the National Archives, including Civil War Pension files which show an amazing amount of information on an individual and others in his family and acquaintance.
