Calvin was born 12/22/1877 in Irish Valley, Pa. He married Cora Sober b.9/22/1879 in Irish Valley also. Calvin's parents: Harrison M. Dreher b.? d. 1915
Magdalene Haupp
Both died in Shamokin, Pa. Anyone have any information? Thanks!

Who are you exactly? I see you have relatives buried at the Kelly Cemetery in Columbia. I am related to them. Claudius Wilhelm Ernest Dreyer was the first Dreyer (aka Dreher) in that line and was also buried there.

I have quite a few Drehers from Ohio but most of mine are from the Central Ohio area. I go back as far as 1633 with a Michael Dreyer.

My mother was a Dreher and her ancestors were from Eichstetten, Freiburg, Baden Germany.Some of the Drehers would be Frederick Godfried Dreher, Wilhelm Dreher, Mattheis Dreher, Michael Dreher, Jakob Dreher, Jakob Dreyer, Michael Dreyer.

I am the great granddaughter of Christof Hahn, the Drehers half-brother.
I have the Lloyd Barton genealogy. I also have a family photo album that belonged to Chris and Charlotte Hahn. There are many unidentified photos that could be the Dreher family. I am interested in knowing whether any records have been found in Germany, including the location of Grundhagen.

I am trying to locate descendants of a FREDERICK JOHN DREHER, born 23 Sep 1873 in Long Prairie, Todd County, Minnesota. He was married to GEORGIA RICE, born about 1873. His parents were Frederick and Magdalen (nee Stabler) DREHER. I think Frederick John and Georgia may have had 2 children Merril and Dona. Does anyone know any information on this line?

I had an HR director who had been in the Marines and when he was stationed in Europe, he had heard a small song about Dreher and delivering beer. I know there is a Dreher beer now owned by Heinken in Hungrary. I have also found information about Hitler trying to take claim to a certain way of making beer that was actually created by a Dreher and there is also another spelling for Dreher that I have seen "Threhr"

My Dreher lineage is mostly from the Columbus, Ohio area if that helps at all. I have quite a bit of information linking them to the Dreher ancestors that immigrated here.

HI, my name is Ginger and I live in Ohio. My great grandfather is Herbert Lester Dreher b.1886 in Miamisburg Ohio. His only sister Katie Ellen was b.1877 other siblings include Jonathan Robert b.1881, Daniel Grover b.1883, Arnold b.1889 and Howard b.1874. Howard married Luella Rowena Combs in 1897 and had Katie Elizabeth in 1897, Howard Elmer in 1900, and Willard Riley in 1903.

The new Ernst biography, available at Lutheran Archives Center at Philadelphia, 7301 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19119 Attn: Mary Redline, gives much new information about your Dreher line. Rev. J. F. Ernst married the couple and this event is recorded in his diary entries. There are other references to the Drehers. The hard-bound volume is almost 900 pages, fully indexed; available for $51 (includes media rate shipping in the continental US). There is an expanded genealogy of the family in the appendix; the book also contains a facsimile of John Frederick Ernst's baptismal certificate from Strasbourg, France.

My father was Robert William Dreher, his parents were Robert William Dreher and Florence Susan Lane. There were ten children: Dorothy (Dolly). Iris Marie, Charles Frank, Richard Frederick, Robert William (Windy), Edwin Theodore )Eddie), Marjorie, Allen Frederick, Florence Susan ) Waddie), and Roberta (Giggie). Elizabeth DREHER, MEAIKE ZAIGER did not come to America with her parents. They were already here in this country. She came with her sisters and two of her children from the Meaike marriage in 28 August 1878 on the ship SS Vaderland from Amsterdam to Philadelphia. I have the complete ships manifest.

My great grandfather was Charles Francis Dreher of Allentown, Pa. He was born 7/3/1858, d. 10/29/1938 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Allentown. He worked in a casket shop just outside of Allentown. There is also a small village west of Allentown called Drehersville. My grandfather was Ervin A. Dreher b.7/9/1884 d. 1959, born just outside of Hazelton,Pa My mother was Edith Mae Dreher..My grandmother was Grace (Reber) Dreher. If I can be of any help contact me. You may be able to help me also. I live in NJ, but only a 45 min. drive to Allentown.

I have a picture of a man, probably in his 30s, I am guessing taken around 1900 (just a guess!!). On the back is handwritten "Georg. L. Dreher." On the front, below the picture, is printed "H.B. DUNGAN Stroudsburg, Pa." which I am assuming is the name and location of the photographer. Does anyone know anything about this man?

according to the census records I found, I showed a John Dreher married to a Mary Dreher. I am going to assume this is who you are talking about. They had 5 children from what I could tell together.

Charles married a Katie and had two kids according to the census records.

Frederick and Katherine Dreher

If this sound right, please let me know. If it is then Mary also had another child before marrying John. His name was Peter Cloos (my g, g grandfather) His dad was from Germany, but at this point, I don't have a first name. All I know is his mother's name was Mary from Alabama
