Oh! Yes.. I am very familiar with old Abraham of Balde! I thought you were referring to a more 'modern' (e.g. 1800's) Abraham and I couldn't find him in The Dreisbach Book. If you want to update your email addresses - I have them. One of the authors of the book, Ardis, is my sister. The other, Jack, is my cousin.

By the way - do you own The Dreisbach Book? If not, you might want to get yourself a copy. It is full of good historical notes as well as having the best (but far, far from complete) lists of genealogy. You can get them from Fred Varker at Varker@optonline.net He reprints the book and sells it at cost (plus his postage). It costs about $25 or $30 and Fred makes no profit. Does this out of the goodness of his heart!
