Anyway, I would love to add you and Ian to the Dresser Family Genealogy database. I do have an Alan Alfred Dresser, born 28 Nov 1928 in NSW on file. Is this your father?

Once we find your family line and get your current info added, I will be able to provide you your lineage back to 1300 and figure out how we are related.
