DEATH of GEORGE E. DREW – Our citizens were pained but not surprised yesterday, at the announcement of the death of George E. DREW, after a lingering illness, of consumption. Mr. DREW was an old and highly esteemed resident of Stockton, had been 3 times elected County Surveyor, and by strick integrity and amiability of character had made many warm friends. Deceased was a native of Brunswick, Maine, aged 41 years, a member of the Odd Fellows, and leaves a wife and 2 children. His funeral will take place on Saturday, at 11 o'clock a.m.
