Likewise, I'd like anyone to justify the linking of William Drew(e) (married to Alice Lloyd) as the son of Sir Thomas Drew(e) (married to Elizabeth Moore).

I see this lineage on genealogies all over the net, but without documentation. The information on William Drewe son of Sir Thomas Drewe in A Geneological and Heraldic History of the Commoners of Great Britain and Ireland, (p. 672 - available via Google Books online) completely conflicts with the William Drewe information in these lineages.

So I think we have two William Drew's born in the first years of the 1600's. It would be nice to link 'our' William Drew in with this older lineage, but I have no documentation to support such a linkage.
