Hello, and Thanks for posting a reply. I do not think this is the same family. Harold John Jackson was born March 27, 1934 in Gurnee, Illinois. His birth certificate says his father was Chancy Emmerson Jackson, born somewhere in Iowa and worked on the railroad for 18 yr at the time of Harolds birth. It says his mother was Rosanna Madeline Phillips, born in Michigan, and a homemaker. The reason I thought it interesting was because of his sister name being Peggy J Jackson who married Harry Drew, and he is deceased. Harold kept up with sis until about30 to 40 yrs ago when she headed to Utah to join the Mormons. Since then he has lost all tract of her. We probably wont find her because they are a very closed off group of people. We were intrigued though because on his birth certificate it said that his mom gave birth to 4 other children before him, 1 stillborn, and 3 living of which he does not know them at all. Iam trying to find out info for him about mom and dad, and other siblings. Peggy J Jackson would of been born 1937 after Harold. You say you have found her, so this probably isnt the same family. Sometimes people lie on birth certificates, and bad records were kept back then. Anyway this is his story as we know it. Thanks
