Dear Judith Drews,
I am a german living in germany and my own ancestor-tree is going back to Friedrich Wilhelm Drews, born 1764. A lot of the Drews emigrated to america. But there are quite some holes in my tree, so there might be some connection between us. I'd be interested in your tree, so if possible, I'd be thankful to have a look at your tree.
By the way, you mentioned that your tree is going back to "Peter Hinrich Drews" born 1739 (what does 'abt.' mean ?).
The firstname "Hinrich" is probably wrong, I guess it should be "Heinrich" .
Here are some of my early dates:
Friedrich Wilhelm Drews, b. 1764, m.28.6.1803, d.20.5.1829
married to : Maria Catherina Gilow, b. 18.7.1776,d.16.9.1830

Jacob Friedrich Drews, b. 21.7.1803, d ?
Jürgen Friedrich Theodor Drews , b.29.6.1806, d.3.1.1870
Maria Caroline Henrietta Albertine Drews, b.26.9.1808, d.27.5.1881
Johann Wilhelm Christian Friedrich Drews, b. 1.6.1811, d. 8.8.1875
Regina Karoline, Marie Wilhelmine Drews, b.15.8.1814, d.?
Jürgen Friedrich Theodor Drews had 7 children. Several of them left germany. One of them was
Wilhelm Johannes Heinrich Drews, b. 28.5.1858, d.14.7.1949.
He went to England, and then to Canada. His sister ,
Johanna Drews, b.2.2.1857, d.25.10.1918, emigrated to USA.
No clue what happend to her.
Greetings
George
