My grandfather was your husband's grandmother's brother - Henry Max Drews, born in Clinton, IA. I have Anna Mathilde and Eugene Biehler's children as Carl, Clara, and Victor. But I do not have any descendents after that. Can you fill me in? Also, I always thought they (the Drews's were from Alsace-Lorraine but have now found a line all the way back to mid1700s in Schleswig-Holstein Germany (town of Heiligenhafen). It is understandable that we all remembered Alsace-Lorraine because of the hyphenated name. My older brother remembers my grandfather (Henry Max) teasing my grandmother (Ella Paasch) who was from southern Germany how much smarter the "northern" Germans were - which wold not fit with Alsace-Lorraine. If you are interested I can get you a web-site to see the entire tree back to Peter Hinrich Drews born abt. 1739. jdrews504@aol.com
