My husband's grandmother was Anna Drews, whose family was from Alsace Lorraine and settled in Iowa (what is now Clinton, Iowa). Anna married Eugene Biehler, who was also born in Alsace Lorraine. Don't know if there is a connection to Charles Drews. I will send you more info if you think this might be a connection.
