I have found Jacob Drill and Eve Ann Stone married in region of Germany called Wurttemberg Donaukreis. I have not found a parish or town yet that contains either name. Stone may also be "stoner" or "stonerock". still looking.

am looking for any information on JACOB DRILL possibly born 1725 in Germany.Married Eva Ann Stone/Stoner.
Daughter Mary Drill born sept.1779,married Mathias Slyh.
Any of these family's or their information would be appreciated.I can share information on the Slyh lines as well.

sorry,...that's all the info I have...it comes from a "Drill Family Tree" published by Douglas Wenny in 1955...In fact, I was unaware of Philip Carper's first name until I saw your post...I do know that Catherine and her parents/siblings were abong the pioneers of Frederick County, Maryland...you may find information there.
