Thank you for your response to my inquiry about our Grandparents. I'm new to the Internet, so please forgive any mistakes I'm sure to make in the future. My Grandmother, Anna Elizabeth, was the third child of Patrick and Mary Droney. She married my Grandfather, James Murphy, in l883 in Driftwood, PA. I'm trying to locate the death certificate of Patrick, as his parents name should be on it, and maybe some information about the area in Ireland he was from. I have contacted Jefferson, Elk, Cameron, and Clearfield Counties for this certificate, but all have stated they have no record of him. I have Mary's death certificate from Clearfield County, with her parents listed as John and Catherine Maher, and Ireland as her place of birth. Do you know in what County, Patrick may have lived at the time of his death?
