I have been given several "Visiting Cards" from a friend who purchased them at an auction. I am attempting to contact someone from the direct line of John G. Dross and pass on his photo.
 
The card is approximately 2 1/2 inches by 4 inches and these cards were given when wishing to visit someone. The front of the card is a photo of a middle aged man. Handwritten on the back, John G. Dross, 1875. Additionally, printed on the back is the name of the photographer, Wm. Richardson, photographer, Broadway, Brooklyn, NY.
