OMG OMG !!!!......I am the gg grand daughter of Henry Droste....hehe....this is what i have on him...

He was born May 1846, came from Germany...married Rebecca(b Nov 1853 and had the following children....william C (my g granddad),Anna L(not sure about this one was hard to read on the census), Mary C, and another girl named either Grace, or tracie L.(again it was hard to read)

In and around 1920 Rebecca was listed as a widow and living with tracie(grace?) and her husband...they had two daughters named Coreen age 2, and Alex age 1

My grand dad William C went on to marry a woman named Florie(not sure about spelling)...william became a black smith and they had serveral children....named Annabelle, Clarence, Cecil, Frank, Mable (my mamaw). There may have been other children , i dont know....I know they called Florie "Mam".

Mable Droste , wiliam and florie's daughter (the baby of the family b 1917) went on to marry John G Hughes and they had two children...William C Hughes (my dad) and Mary Ann Hughes.....Im sorry to say..but my Mamaw passed away May 5 of 2000. She was a wonderful woman with a great sense of humor. I miss her terribly.
