I am thrilled to hear that you posted. Do you know when Mathias came to the States? My henry was suppost to be around 2-4 when he came over. I haven't been able to trace him out of Pulaski Co. Kentucky. On 8 Dec 1881 he married Rebecca hines in Pulaski Co. Ky. The marriage records just say that he was b. in Europe. My grandparents have always said that he was from Prussia, but that is a fairly large place. Not like a city or anything.

Henry Clay and Rebecca Lee had 2 sons, William Clay, My gr-grandfather, Edwin Alonzo, who died in infancy. 3 Daughters, Mary, Grace, and Annie.

I have been searching to no avail for some sibling or any type of info on Henry for several years. I will see if I can find out anything from my mother. I am so hoping that there may be some type of connection here. This is the closest I have come to any so far. Lots of luck - Jane Ann
