Okay,
After a few mistakes and going back and researching this through my own family's website, which my brother and sister lovingly maintain and update, this is what I can tell anyone who is interested:
My great,great,great grandfather's name was Thomas Drought B.Aug. 16 1755 D. 1833. He was of Droughtville Forest.
He married Naomi Fraser ( we have a photo of the house where they raised their nine children ), one of these children was Henry Drought of Oaklawn B. 1797 D. 1852. He married Sarah Mitchell. Sadly, we have no information on her. They had a son,Thomas,my great grandfather, also of Oaklawn B. Jan. 23, 1836 D. 1890 in Canada. I don't know if there were any other children. Thomas married Jeanie Hacket Clarke ( who was born in Ireland and died in British Coloumbia, Canada in 1906 ) and they had nine children: Thomas,( my grandfather ),Henry, John Samuel, Elizabeth Charlotte Maude, Albert Edward, Sarah Theodora Alfrida Eugenie, Norah Lucy and Jeanie Kathleen.
My grandfather married Cecelia Ann Cresswell of Manitoba and they had four children: twin girls who died before my father was born, Albert Edward,( my father ) and Cyril, who became Father Harold of the Order of Carmelites.
I live in Miami,Florida,USA. I am engaged to be married and have a son, Chance Nikolas Adams, who is 11 months old.
I also have three older sisters and an older brother, my favorite.
Please contact me if you are interested, I would be thrilled to hear from a distant relation!
Sincerely,
Shirley Jean Drought
