My mother's maiden name was Drowne.She was born and raised in MA and then later moved to PA, where I was born.My relatives are still in the Boston area;unfortunately,they are not interested in genealogy.
A word file would be fine.I always like to add new data.I'm am amazed at how many Drowne/Drown/Drowns there are.As I was growing up I was sure that my mother was the only one with that name.I am surprided!
