I am Looking for Druce/Druse family that lived in
Herikmer County, NY and moved to Lake County,
IL in early 1800's.

Alexander Druce/Druse, they all spelled their
names differently, was the son of James Druse.
My research suggests that Stephen Derus was the
father of the Druse Family. Notice spelling
of "Deruse".

I have more information but wanted to
explain that the name(s) may not be of the
same family. Many of my relatives spelled
the surname both ways; even member of the
same individual family.
