John DRUCKENMILLER was born c1840 in Pennsylvania. He married Mary A. ROTHROCK in c1859. Mary was the daughter of Charles Francis ROTHROCK (1812-1902) and Levina BEYL ROTHROCK (1824-1906) of Lower Saucon Township, later Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Mary was born in c1840.

In 1870 John and Mary (listed as DRUCKENMILLER) and their first four children were living at Emmaus Borough, Emmaus Post Office, Page 503, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania with John listed as a wheelright. In 1880 the parents and six children were living at Upper Milford Township, Page 350, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania with John listed as a miner. In 1880 the surname seemed to be spelled DRUCKEMILLER. In 1900 the parents and last three children were living at Emmaus Borough, ED51, Sheet 6B, Page 325, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania with John listed as a day laborer. Mary said she was the mother of ten, nine living. In 1906 Mary was known to be living at Emmaus, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

Their known children were: Annie M. (b. 1860); Howard (b. 1864), Addie A. (b. 1866), Amelia C. (b. 1868), Charles (b. 1871), John (b. Mar 1874), Edgar (b. Sep 1875), Walter (b. Mar 1879) and James R. (b. Aug 1882)
