Re: Drucker Family
Marie,
Thank you for your response. I have had very few other responses.
I do not recognize the name 'Marvin' Drucker. I do have a faint recollection of Sam wearing a flat straw hat. His brothers would be Nathan, Henry, and Abraham. His sister was my grandmother, Rose Drucker Feist. I am uncertain whether they lived in Manhattan or Bronx. I do remember that the four of them would visit my grandmother on a Saturday and play cards for hours. I was very young and do not recall ever having any conversation with any of them.
The other thing that I recall is that my dad and one of his brothers were named after their living uncles, Nathan & Henry. This may mean that they were Sephardic or that they adopted that custom while the family lived in Holland.
Please reply with any thoughts that might at all be helpful.
