NEWARK: A funeral service for James E. "Jim" Drumm, Sr., 76, of St. Louisville, Ohio (Licking County) will be held at 1PM, Friday, January 13, 2012, at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens, Newark, Ohio.

Mr. Drumm, of St. Louisville, OH passed away Monday, January 9, 2012, at Mt. Carmel East Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

He was born October 23, 1935, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio (Knox County) a son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Freeman) Drumm, Sr.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Drumm had worked at Newark Concrete for many years.
He had been a St. Louisville village councilman for eight years and attended the St. Louisville Christian Church.
Mr. Drumm had been a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed fishing and was an avid OSU fan.

Survivng are his wife of 50 years, Barbara (Dickerson) Drumm, whom he married May 14, 1960; his children, Gloria (Randy) Wilson, James (Sue) Drumm, Jr., Rick (Desireé) Drumm, all of Newark; his grandchildren, Ryan and Craig Wilson, Zachary and Kathryn Drumm, Erin (Kent) Lees and Keri (Adam) Hoskinson; two great grandchildren, Whitney and Luke Lees; a sister, Beverly (Bill) Marriott of Newark; a brother, Thomas (Midge) Drumm of St. Louisville; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Christian Drumm in 2003; brothers, Lawrence Drumm, Jr., Richard Drumm and sisters, Patricia Ashcraft and Mary Coakley.

Friends may call 5-8PM Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st Street.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Louisville Christian Church.
