I am looking for ANY INFO on my paternal great-great-grandmother Hannah (nee DRYDEN) McSweeney's family. My Grammie told me that the DRYDENS were from Chicago, IL. Names that I have records of:

known 1887-1890s
E.W. Dryden
71-73 22nd Street near Prairie Avenue
Chicago, IL

E.W. Dryden owned a carriage/phaeton/wheelwright shop, DRYDEN & Co., at the above address.

19 APR 1940
Miss J. Dryden
1053 N. Shore Ave.
Chicago, Ill.

From an address book of Hannah's daughter, Lizzie J. McSweeney.

I have a digital photo of a tintype of "Minnie DRYDEN" and a cabinet photo card of "Merry Xmas to Aunty McSweeney, DRYDEN Ennis". I also have many unidentified digital photos of people from Chicago, IL. that I can share along with my great-great-grandparents and their descendents. Other relative surnames: McSweeney, Miller, Doyle, Callahan in: Detroit, MI; Buffalo, NY; Rochester, NY; and Chicago, IL.

Hannah was born in Ireland according to census records and died in DEC 1913 in Michigan. She married Owen (Gaelic for Eugene) McSweeney (also born in Ireland) and they raised their family in MI:

1) John Edmund
2) Mary Ann(e)
3) Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie J."
4) Hannah Jr.
5) Ownie (a nickname for Owen Jr.?)
