This Frederick Smiles Dryden was my Great Grandfather. He traveled to South Africa.After catching a Free ride on a Train carriage. He slipped and lost one of his legs after the Train run over it. He survived and returned to South Shields in England. He Married Elizabeth Whittles. Their Children where Ronald 18 Sep 1900. Lilian 24 Dec 1901. Frederick Elliot 27 Sept 1903 (My Grandfather).
