I am searching for information on my gr grandma Matilda N. Dryer/Ommen.
People called her Tillie. Her parents names were William and Augusta Dryer and they came from Pommern, Germany.
Matilda b.August 10, 1877 in Pommern, d.July 08, 1967 in Charlotte, Michigan.
Matilda lived in Illinois and wound up marrying my gr grandpa Jilde Jurgens OMMEN in 1904. Four years after my first gr grandma, Helene ONKEN/OMMEN died. Jilde and Matilda moved to Michigan soon after they were married. They moved somewhere in Sunfield, Michigan, then to Delta twp. and then to Grand Ledge, Michigan.
Matilda helped raise Jildes five children. My grandmother being the youngest.
I would love to find more information about her and her family.
