Jacob Duback (Tubach)'s quite interesting life story is on-line at:
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~waclacem/OldCity/cityobit.... (pages 2-4).

His correct birthplace, I believe, is Unteröwisheim, cf.:

http://www.ngw.nl/int/dld/u/unterowi.htm

Bill
Hi, My name is Catherine Duback. I am aware that I have a great great grandfather by the name of Jacob Duback. I also know that he died in 1904. He was a Clark County Pioneer. My dad's name is David Duback. I wouldn't be surprised if you've already gotten in touch with him (if we are indeed related) because he is very much into this family history stuff.

Let me know if this sounds right..

Hello, I have been doing a little research for my son and came accross your message. Quite a few years later I'm afraid. My son is a Duback, first born of Stanley W. Duback,Jr. I am hoping to find more info about the family as to where everyone originated from. My son is working on a school project that is supposed to reflect on his culture and wants to show all of his. He is going to be 14 on December 31 and it would be grand if you had any other information that may help us. Thank you in advance, M
