Hello, I trying to find information on Tarlor Sutton b.1803 d. 1875 and was married to Nancy Ann Scroter. Nancy Ann' parents were John Jacob Scroter and Elizabeth Dubbert. I have some pages copied from the Munn's family tree that may interest you. This is some of the information;

John Jacob Scroter was born in Holland between 1760 and 1770. After a short stay in England, Scroter came to America and married Elizabeth Dubbert on November 10, 1800.

John Frederick Dubbert was a {Presbyterian minister and was a chaplain during the Revolutionary War.

John Jacob Scroter was a member of the High Presbyterian Church in Holland.

The Scroters had four daughters as follows:
1 Mary, born 1804, Married Angus Munn
2 Charlotte Felestia, born 1810. Married Sandy Campbell
3 Nancy Ann, born 1812, married Tolar (Tarlor) Sutton
4 Rosalie, born 1815, married Daniel Munn

It's not clear how the Dubberts came by a land grant from the King of England, but Reverend Dubbert was a Tory refugee and was an arden supporter of the King. There is a legend that this land reached from Blakeney's Bridge to Black Creek. For some unknown reason he never claimed all of it.

A tract of this land was inherited by his granddaughter, Mary, who had married Angus Munn. This land was three miles east of Jefferson, South Carolina, off highway 265 and on a state road leading to the right and to the Sycamore Place.

The Munn Cemetery is on the right side of the road in a growth of trees. Angus, Mary, Charlotte Felestia, Tolar Sutton, and several other family members are buried there.

On a visit the author of the Munn family history found that many of the monuments have been removed.

John died in the 1840's and Elizabeth during 1860's.
John Scroter's name died with him because he did not have any male members to carry on the name.

My tree goes from Nancy Ann Scroter who married Tarlor Sutton. They had;
John J. 1825 ker, SC 1916 m. Margaret Munn
Martha 1830 Ker 3/8/1901 m. John Sullivan
H Rosanne 1832 Ker 1890 m. Duncan Munn
E. Rosalie 1835 Ker Single
Sarah Ann 1838 Ker McNeil
Gwin 1840 Ker 1861 Killed in Civil War
W.G Dolph 6/1845 Ker 7/3/1933 m. Hannah Lnn
Marcus Wesley 11/7/1849 Ker 12/21/1887 m. Emma Talbert
L.Jane 11/16/1851 Ker 5/16/1936 m. Alonzo Munn 8/1/1871

Tarlor Sutton is my ggg-grandfather on my grandmother's side. Her name was Annie Caroline Sutton Watts and her mother and father were William Chapman Sutton and Sarah Ethel Benfield.

I hope this will help. If you find some leads to Tarlor please let me know.
