Mike Hicks, Do you have information on your William M Dudley's parents? In the family bible of John W Dudley, there are his children with names of Thomas C.(05/05/1853),James H (12/21/1847),William T (01/05/1864),and others.
I realize these are a later generation that you mentioned,but I was thinking that they may have been named after a brother or uncle. I'm sure John W Dudley had brothers and sisters. I 'm having trouble finding his parents. There is no mention of parent or siblings in our bible.
