I have come to a wall with William Duel b.1796 NY living with children in 1860 census in Fremont, Steuben, New York. His son is Abram (30yrs old) both of them were blacksmiths. This family moved to WI showing up in the 1870 census but now Abram's name is listed as Nelson. Nelson moved to Traverse City, MI and shows up in the 1900 census but Duel is no spell Duell.

Do you have anything referencing this Duel family?
