I just recently found out that my gg grandfather Abraham Duerksen I came over to America with his family and also his brother and family came over with them. I am trying to find out more info on Abraham and his brother Benjamin and wife Susanna Wedel. Records show that they both lived in or near Parker, SD for some time and their sister Agaentha m. Heinrich Buller and came to America few months later than her brothers did. I would like to find anyone that would be related to Abraham, Benjamin and wife Susanna, Agaentha and husband Heinrich. Abraham m. Elizabeth Buller and they are my gg grandparents am hoping to find out whom their parents were. Abraham and Elizabeth died near Marion, SD and am trying to find out where and when Benjamin, Susanna, Agaentha and Heinrich died and where buried at. Any help certainly would and will be appreciated. Thanks, Judy Duerksen Evans

I'm trying to make a connection with my Duerksen line. My ancestral background is Mennonite and they came from Holland, my great, great, greatgrandfather was John (Johann) Duerksen possibly son for Johann Cornelius Duerksen. I need to find the Tragheimerweide Mennonite Church records in Prussia and the 1835 census of Molotschna Colony in South Russia. My grandfather was Abraham T. Duerksen m. Marie Willems, Marion, SD; greatgrandparents were Abraham and Sarah Tieszen Duerksen, great great grandparents were Abraham and Elizabeth Buller Dirkson(Duerksen). If anybody could shed some light and give me some information sure would appreciate. Abraham and Sarah, Abraham and Elizabeth and Abraham and Marie all died in Marion, SD and were Mennonites.
