I recently bought an antique school book from 1908 that has the names Francis, Edward, and William Dufau hand written in it. Francis wrote her address as being in Columbus, but there is some indication (it's hard to read) that William's address was in Blanchard, Ohio, in Clermont County. I don't know if the three of them were siblings, cousins, or what, but judging by the book's subject matter, their hand writing, and what they wrote, I would put all three of them as early/pre-teens in 1908, meaning they would have been born in the 1890s.

The book was purchased at an antique shop in Springfield, Ohio.

Do you have anything on these three individuals in your Dufaus? It would be interesting to know a little about the former owners of the book, but Dufau info seems a bit hard to come by so far.

Thanks.

Hi I am looking for information on Fred A Dufau who married a Lida N Edwards and had three children. Mary Genevieve, Damilla M and John A. Apparently Fred and Lida divorced sometime between the 1920 and 1930 census as Fred was living with his son in Sabina and Lida had moved to Dayton Ohio. Any info would be a great help. Thank you.
Oh and Damilla passed away in 1912 at age 10 buried in Sabina cemetery beside her Grandparents David Edwards and Martha (Turner) Edwards. All info is from Clinton County and Montgomery Counties in Ohio.

Searching for a group of Dufau siblings in France where almost all (except one who went to America) went into religious occupations (priests, monks, nuns, or similar) that were born around 1870-1890ish.

All these siblings are children of JEAN (male French spelling of John) DUFAU born ABOUT 1850 in Arros Contondenay, FRANCE.

Wife was Cath. (Hillou) Dufau...

Any help appreciated or hellos if you are searching the same line! (I'm running into some difficulty as I don't speak French and to check into French records necessitates calls to France!)
