one of my ancestors is Joseph/Josiah Duffield b. about 1840 in New Jersey. He is listed in the Illiois census for 1860 married to Ellen Beam. By 1870 he is farming in chariton county Missouri. I have not been able to find any information about his parents in New Jersey.
