This Viola Duffy was one of the daughters of Michael and Myrtle Duffy of Hailey, Idaho. In 1900, her family included older brother, Herbert Earl, and younger sisters, Mabel and Hazel. Mr. Duffy, 40, was working in a gold mine. By 1910, Mrs. Duffy had produced three more daughters: Theresa, Margaret, and Harriet, and she was working as an ironer in a steam laundry. Her husband was out of the home, but she is still listed as married. Oldest son, Herbert was a salesman at a dry goods store. This photo was taken in 1911, when Viola was 18. Photo is on eBay once again.
