I am searching the Duffy line as it pertains to my half siblings.

I have a Margaret Duffy b. abt. 1837 supposedly in Ireland who married Abraham Hackett of Sayabec, Quebec. Her marriage record in Sayabec said she was from PEI (no mention of parents) and the 1881 Quebec census said she was born in Ireland. I am trying to find out who her parents were. So far I have two prospects that had a daughter Margaret born same era.

1. Patrick Duffy & Margaret Ann Hearst from PEI (born their)
2. Carbery Duffy & Eleanor both from Ireland

Since the 1881 Quebec census said she was born in Ireland I am trying to prove or disprove first that she was the daughter of Carbery Duffy and his wife Eleanor, a more likely choice but I need proof and/or sources.

This is the info I have on Carbery Duffy and his wife:

Arrived at Grosse-Ile, Quebec April 9, 1847 with four children from County Roscommon, Ireland:
Carbery Duffy 50
Eleanor Duffy 42
Margaret Duffy 9
Patrick Duffy 6
John Duffy 4
Catherine Duffy 1 month old

Here is the source as listed at Grosse-Ile:

List of Major Denis Mahon's Sharecroppers Date: 1847-04-09 Name: Duffy, Margaret Age: 9 Sex: F Origin: Cregga House Division, Irlande Landlord: Major Denis Mahon Departure Conditions: Compensation: £ s. p. Ground Surface: A. r. p. Travelling with: Head of Family: Duffy, Carbery Brother(s): Duffy, Patrick; Duffy, John; Sister(s): Duffy, Catherine Reference: 1847, Cregga House Division, Major Mahon, April 9th, Emigration, No 27. 1847, Cregga House Division, Major Mahon, April 9th, Emigration, No 1. The Famine Museum, Strokestown Park, County Roscommon, Ireland. (Parcs Canada, Patrimoine culturel et biens immob

As earlier stated, According to the Grosse-Ile Immigrants list Margaret Duffy came to Canada with her parents Carberry & Eleanor Duffy. Also accompanying them where Margaret's siblings: Catherine Duffy 1 month, John Duffy 4 yrs, and Patrick Duffy 6 yrs.

Would like to know where all the above people went to, their spouses , d.o.b's and d.o.d"s.

Based on Grosse-Ile records of their age at time of arrival I put
Carbery b. abt 1797, Ireland
Eleanore b. abt 1805, Ireland
Margaret b. abt. 1836 Ireland as per Quebec census (Also have birth as Aug 16, 1837..don't know where I got that date from)
Patrick b. abt 1841, Ireland
John b. abt. 1843, Ireland
Catherine b. March 1847, Ireland (if the April 9, 1847 is the time of departer from Ireland and not arrival in Canada)

All help is appreciated.
