CROOKSVILLE: Dorothy Faye Long, 87, of Crooksville, Ohio (Perry County) passed away at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the New Lexington Care and Rehab Center, New Lexington, Ohio.

She was born April 10, 1925, in Morgan County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Meredith Darlington and Mabel Offord Dugan.
She graduated from M&M High School.

She was the co-owner of Long's Jewelers in Crooksville and McConnelsville, Ohio.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and VFW.

Surviving are her husband, Landon Long of the home; two sons, John William Long of Heath, Ohio and Larry Clark Long of Fairmont, WV; a daughter, Cheryl Ann (David) Rambo of Crooksville, OH; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Frank Dugan of McConnelsville, Ohio and Wayne Dugan of Ventura, CA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Robert Dugan; and a great-grandchild.

No calling hours or services will be observed.
A private family service will be held at Iliff Cemetery at a later date.

MCCONNELSVILLE: Frank M. Dugan, 98, of McConnelsville passed away at 10:10 p.m. February, 10, 2015 at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville, Ohio.

He was born November 30, 1916 in McConnelsville, Ohio the son of the late Meredith Darlington "Darr" Dugan and Mabel Offord Dugan.

He was a farmer and worked for Morgan Local School District until 1981 and retired as Clerk Treasurer.
He was an Army Air Force Veteran of WWII where he served in the Pacific Theater with the 345th Bomb Group.
He was a member and taught Men's Sunday School at McKendree United Methodist Church in McConnelsville.
He was also a member of M&M Rotary Club where he was a Paul Harris Fellow, Morgan County Farm Bureau, Neelysville Grange and a 4-H leader for 14 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Karen (David) Kinney of Bowerston, Ohio; sons, James Dugan of Chattanooga, TN, Tom (Bz) Dugan of McConnelsville, OH, Roger (Peggy) Dugan of Knoxville, TN; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; brother, Wayne Dugan of Ventura, CA; brother in law, Landon Long of Crooksville.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Broedel Dugan who died in 1998; sister, Dorothy Long; brother, William Robert Dugan; and a sister in law, Martha Dugan.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at the McKendree United Methodist Church, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 with Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap officiating.

He will be laid to rest beside his wife in McConnelsville Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion Post 24 Honor Guard. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling arrangements.
