I suspect driving a bootleg coal truck may have been on the more legal things he did but I really don't know. He died of lung cancer in Gibbstown. I was a university president at the time and didn't have the time nor inclination to go to his funeral, which infuriated his wife at the time. Truth be told I don't have a lot of interest in my ancestors. I don't even allow my grandchildren to know where I live. Good luck with your search.
