Surnames: Cadeau, Henault, Enaud, Duhaime, Duhême
I have not found any direct evidence of a Duhaime native connection either Carol.
After years of searching the best evidence I have seen is Josephte DuHaine born 1842 and Pierre (Cadet) Cadeau who was born in 1841. This pair were supposedly members of the Garden River First Nation in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.

This does not match very well with Josephte (Duhême) Duhaime b. Apr 11, 1839, St-Anicet QC (daughter of Alexis Duhaime and Brigitte Charlebois) m. Jan 07 1857 Ormstown, QC to Pierre Cadeau (Pierre Hénault-dit-Canada-Fresnière) b.Mar 10 1835 Berthier, QC.
Pierre was the son of Antoine Énaud\Hénault-dit-Fresnière and Catherine Gervais-dit-Gervaise.
Their lines go back to France....
