Just saw your email thread my father was the last of the Duhig's to live in Ardfert, His father was Daniel Duhig, whose father before him was James Duhig. Most of Daniels brothers and sisters emigrated to England and America. There was a large family there so I don't have all the names for the other brothers and sisters. My father would have more details. Daniels brother David was the only other brother who remained in Ardfert and died a batchelor with no children. We've a few relations still living in the Ardfert area who don't bear the surname Duhig.
