Have been reexamining a number of genealogical sources along with old family letters regarding the Duhigs of the Tralee area (Spa, Fenit and Ardfert). To-date, have not found any specific records for the deaths of Ellen, Margaret and Thomas, younger children of Michael Sr. and Margaret (Gaynor) Duhig. Would you have any information as to about when they were born? Have narrowed the death date for Michael Duhig Sr. down to Christmas Eve or Day, 1852 (oral history and correspondence). Have not found any church birth records for the older children John, Michael and Maurice (Morris) who emigrated to Wisconsin in 1851-53s. Have found a historical connection with Daniel O'Connell. Will be visiting the Tralee area next spring and hope to conduct some on-site research. Please advise if you would like me to forward an updated history for John, Michael and Maurice Duhig (Duffy). Please forward Eric's address if he would like to exchange genealogical research. Thanks
