The Duhigs are from the Ardfert area of Kerry and the Gaynors are mostly buried at Churchill near Fenit and Spa. I was in Ireland in 1997 and was told (by Ita O'Donnell, Blennerhasset) that the last Duhig in the County was now the Governor of Cork Prison. She also said the name was pronounced "Dewey".
