Hi Peter,
I also am searching for a Duhig in my family tree. You have done some fantastic research to have that amount of information. I am searching for a Mary Duhig who was the mother of Bridget. Bridget married a John Fogarty in approx. 1838 and immigrated to Australia in 1853. I do not have Bridget's exact maiden name, as records show discrepancies, but am sure it starts with the letter 'M'. Either Madden, Marinan, Manning? Also not sure who Mary Duhig was married to. Bridget was born approx 1820, so the Mary Duhig you mentioned was born after that date. Have you heard of any other Marys that married and later came to Australia?
Thanks.
Lynn
