Hi Annette,my name is Judy, your posted story on Alexander Dumas and Clement Jarvis was very interesting to me.My grand
fathers name was Joesph Dumas they say he was born in New York and had a few brothers I don't have the names of them or any dates either.my g father moved to Burlington Vermont. Married Clara Tougas and they had six children.Gene,Raymond,
Francis,Ida,Loretta and my mother Aurise who married James Underwood.Joesph Dumas was a very talented carpenter who
built many house's,so they say!Yet I only have hear says of info. But I do have a picture of my g father with his brothers raising their beer mugs!A true french men the women would say.My uncle Gene lived somewhere in upstate N.Y.He had eighteen children that are all spread around N.Y.My g Father died at 52 about 1937-39.I have to start getting b. and d cert.I'm new at this and not sure how to do this. By the way another interesting connection to your story: My sister Loretta married Francis Jarvis in Vt.He has many relatives in n.y. so this story is all the more interesting. His mom+ father were from there. Is there any connection any where?Who know's but I'd to hear from ?Thank You
Judy Findling.
