Stanley Wawrzynski (a.k.a. Stanley Dumont), my grandfather, was born in Gojsk, Poland approximatley 1887. Arrived in USA unmarried in early 1900's. Lived in Elizabeth, Irvington, and Newark, NJ. Married Julia Lenart January 31, 1915 in Newark. Left his wife Julia and four children about 1930. Went to CT. Died and buried in Norwalk, Connecticut, in mid-June, 1952. Buried in St. Mary-St. John Cemetery (Norwalk) as Stanley Dumont, though we don't know why or when he began using that surname. Are there any DUMONTs out there who may know anything about him?
