I am trying to find out any information on the Dunbars of Barnwell County SC. My great-great grandfather was born there and his name was Henry Dunbar. I am told that he was the son of a slave owner. HIs mother's name was Antoinette. He was born in Allendale ca. 1861. Henry lived in Augusta GA as a young man and was a tinner, that is he worked in sheet metal and worked at least for a time on the railroad.
