Hi,
I'm very interested in your imformation on Laura Mae Dungy or Dunzy. I'm form Iowa and I have seen the marriage Licence of her and John Abraham Lincoln Plum and it is very hard to read Laura's Last name. I even thought it might of been Denney, but that also could be wrong. The marriage Documents are hard to read the spelling. I'm a descendent through John's first marriage to Sarah Catherine Pilgram. I would greatly appreciate any imformation you may have on Laura and the family.
Cindy Hamling

Dear Betty,
I just recieved your Message today. My email is bhamling@pcsia.net , I just got done going through some other imformation I was sent on the Plums from another person and I still have to get it all put in my computer. It looks as though I'm going to have to make a trip to Oskaloosa and try to do some research, I have a few discrepence's with the other imformation I was sent. Kathy Plum sent it to me just a few day's ago. Though she has told me she has gotten some of the imformation from a Aunt of my witch I haven't had a chance to check with her and see what she has. It's nice to run into all kinds of relatives out there. At least we can compare our files and see if we have discrepences with each other and then go check what we can out. Hope to hear from you soon.
Cindy Hamling

Dear Betty,
I haven't heard from you in a while and was wondering if you have found anything out on Laura Mae Dungy and John Abraham Plum. I've been looking today for Laura's parent's and have not found them! Do you have any dates for Thomas Dungy and Sarah Spencer. Do you have an idea what area to look for them in. The 1900 Census for John and Laura, list's Laura's father as born in Germany and her mother born in Kansas. Give me an email at bhamling@pcsia.net .
Cindy Hamling

Grandmother

Hello! I am in search of any ancestors of my Grandmother. Her name is Novaleate Dungy Coffin. Coffin being her married name. She was born in the early 1900s, maybe 04-05-05. That is her bifth record anyway. Her mothers name was Stella Dungy, who passed on in the early 1970s. My grandmother told me her family was from Louisiana and as a little girl her mother and her mothers brother all moved to Texas. Well she now lives in Los Angeles, my Grandmother that is, and is 95. She justwent into the hospital at the beginning of the year. I am just interested in knowing the family history. Seeing that she is such an eldrely lady and not in the fairest of health I cant get any more info from her. I really will appriciate any info you may be able to supply.
Thank You Sincerely
C R Gray
