M.Dunkel born 1802 in Buffalo Township Union County PA

Surnames: Dunkel
I am trying to determine if this family were Indians. His wife was E.Dunkel. Their daughter came to TN and married a James C. Williams in 1868 at Giles County, Tn.Their Daughter Beaula Williams is my grand mother.
Supposedly her mother was an Indian.
