      <title>TOURNER DUNKIRK c1770 - 1820</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.dunkirk/2/mb.ashx</link>
<description>I am looking for traces of my x4 great grandfather Thomas TOURNER who was said to be living in Dunkirk working as a carpenter. c 1770 - 1820 He and his wife MARY were probably accompanied by at least two children Thomas Phipps TOURNER b. London 1769 and Anna Maria TOURNER born London 1771. It seems that at least one of their children William, b. 1787 according to census records was born in France. It is possible other siblings Isaac TOURNER b c1781, Mary TOURNER and Elizabeth TOURNER were also born in France. All the children were living in England (London) by 1800. Given the turbulent times in France at the end of the Eighteenth Century finding this family will not be easy, I keep my fingers crossed.</description>
